Scott Mitchell

Animation Director

Scott is an Animation Director at 2K Cloud Chamber and a 23 year veteran of the animation industry. He got his start working on traditionally animated television commercials and cartoons, before switching to videogames to realize a goal of working on interactive projects.

Ubisoft Montreal gave him a fresh start, and the opportunity to hone his craft as an Animator, with credits on Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia titles, then realizing his ultimate career goal of directing animation on a sports title, for Shaun White Snowboarding in 2008.

Following the success of his directorial debut, Scott answered the call to take on the Lead position on Mass Effect 3 at Bioware, before earning directing credits on critically acclaimed titles Far Cry 4, and Rainbow Six Siege. Scott’s current challenge is working on the next installment of the Bioshock franchise.

With a 20 year background in gymnastics as an athlete and coach, Scott applies a high-level understanding of body mechanics and spatial awareness, as well as a progression-based coaching method as a Director and mentor.
