Jonathan Morin

Creative Director & Game Director

During his 23 years in the game industry, Jonathan Morin performed various roles in art, level design, game design, and creative direction. The last few games he released include Far Cry 2, Watch Dogs & Watch Dogs 2. Now in its 20th year at Ubisoft Montreal, he is the game director of an unannounced project. Following his interest for games and creative direction, he decided to join Skill Tree as a mentor to interact with a new generation of creative minds. To share what he has learned and to be inspired by other people’s way of approaching the craft.

Game Direction Mentorship

This mentorship includes 5 hours of one-on-one training tailored to suit the mentee’s specific needs. We will build a custom plan to help you achieve your goals as a professional game designer or game director.

We can dig deep into your creative processes to elevate your game pillars. We could explore your design processes to further develop your craft to create strong gameplay experiences. Or we can focus on your iterative processes to improve how you manage feedback to build strong confidence in your ability to decide when it matters

As a mentor, I want to help you identify your personal design processes to enable meaningful growth. Every creative mind is different. The mentor can plant the right seed, but only the mentee can make it grow in a meaningful way.
